Types of Grants
The Foundation for Seacoast Health awards three types of grants to organizations that improve the health and well-being of individuals in our community.

Our Strategic Grant cycle occurs annually from February-May.
The funding priority for this cycle alternates between Mental Health and Healthy Aging. Grants of up to $30,000 are awarded as general operating support and are typically structured as single-year commitments.
Our 2027 Strategic Grant cycle will focus on Healthy Aging and opens in mid February.

Our Responsive Grant Cycle occurs annually from August-November.
This cycle addresses efforts that strengthen organizational resilience, build capacity, and support urgent or unanticipated needs.
Grants of up to $20,000 are awarded as single-year general operating support.
Our 2026 Responsive Grant Cycle will open on Aug. 17th. The RFP will be published here at that time.

Directed grants are awarded by invitation only. Organizations are identified by the Foundation based on alignment with Foundation priorities, community needs, and demonstrated impact.
All directed grants remain subject to the Foundation’s geographic focus, mission alignment, and overall funding availability.
